Each year, a "Pride in Greene Award" is given to a staff member at each campus the best displays the following attributes: promotes dignity and worth of students and fellow staff members; promotes goodwill and friendship among staff members; promotes pride in the school/school system and is a good spokesman for the school/school system; promotes fairness and honesty in all dealings affecting students and staff members; respects the rights and opinion of others; demonstrates enthusiasm about learning; recognizes the special efforts of students, staff, and parents; demonstrates a caring and concerned attitude for others; recognizes others for their accomplishments; demonstrates a willingness to assist in activities outside of his/her assigned area of responsibility; and actively supports the mission of the school/school system.
