- TEAM REACH TEACHER™ (TRT™)
The Multi-Classroom Leader™ leads a small team of teachers and support staff and is responsible for the student load of the full team. The MCL™ organizes the team to review student progress and change instruction to ensure high levels of learning for every child. The MCL™ is fully accountable for the learning and development of all students taught by the team members. They provide feedback to the principal about the team’s development and needed support.
The Multi-Classroom Leader™, or MCL™, role in Greene County Schools, may be “partial-release” or "full-release." Partial-release MCLs have their own classroom of record and teach for part of the day but have release time to leave their classroom to work with their team teachers. Full-release MCLs are not tied to a specific class but still provide instruction in various ways to their teaching team's students.
The Team Reach Associate™ (Team RA™) assists with instruction and takes responsibility for the non-instructional duties of a team of teachers. The Team RA assists with and facilitates small and large-group student learning. Team RAs manage procedures and supervise student behavior during transitions, lunch, recess, assemblies, and other unstructured activities and while teachers deliver instruction.
